Lynette Yetter will read from Fuente Fountain Books' forthcoming novel Heaven Off the Coast, a novel by M.S.A. Bacon. M.S.A. Bacon, a hapa writer of Okinawan and Anglo American heritage, born in Okinawa, lives in San Francisco.
Heaven off the Coast is a California hapa family’s coming of age story. At the auspicious age of 60, June returns to Okinawa to visit the island of her birth. The journey with her elderly mother, surfer brother, and conservative Christian niece is rocked with mystic calls from their ancestral culture.
